SIMBuddies is a one-million-strong, citizen-to-citizen-driven civic action and media-mobility network advancing inclusive development and progressive leadership across all 319 wards of Rivers State. It is designed as a participatory infrastructure that connects citizens, communities, culture, media, and policy into a single, scalable system for perception change, civic engagement, and sustainable governance outcomes.

Inspired by Tonye Cole’s leadership vision, SIMBuddies functions as a people-powered platform that empowers 3,190 HopeRiverian Advocates and mobilizes 31,900 Special Impact Ambassadors across 23 Local Government Areas and 23 ethnic-lingual nationalities. The platform reframes citizenship as active participation—deploying media, culture, youth energy, and behavioral change strategies to reposition perception currency around leadership, development, and collective responsibility.

SIMBuddies deploys the “SIMBuddies” campaign to drive multi-ethnic inclusion, geo-economic integration, and religious tolerance, inspiring emerging youth leaders to build progressive, people-centric partnerships and opportunities that advance the One-Rivers Dream Agenda.

SIMBuddies is designed to connect, communicate, and collaborate with community impact leaders across Rivers State and its communities, empowering their voices to rise to the challenge of “Creating a New Direction for Rivers.” It seeks to bridge the gap in next-generational growth through intergenerational policy impact programs that activate Village2Village youth-centric engagement hubs across electoral wards, driving community-led action that benefits the people.

SIMBuddies is structured to create direct democracy impact investments for young citizens across the nation, driving shared-value investments for a revived Rivers that is ready to reshape the future with progressive possibilities powered by global goal innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals. It also collaborates with social entrepreneurs to transform policy action programs into people-centric marketplace solutions that deliver dividends of democratic inclusion, one local government area at a time.
